I find the food to be tasty the oxtail was to die for with sauces now the service on the table is not the best better to go
Lalllo's has easily became my FAVORITE place in South Florida for doubles!!! The Barra is always fluffy and soft. The channa is always seasoned to perfection, and when you add pepper it has the perfect kick. I've ventured off into trying doubles with meat. I'm more of a traditional doubles girl with no meat but I tried the meat doubles. It reminds me of a mini roti. Still tastes good though. I tried the goat and shrimp (separately) and they were DELICIOUS!!!
So my dad and step mom wanted me to try the other big Trinidadian restaurant in this area. We grabbed a table and it definitely took some time for service. The server explained that they were short staffed, so we understood. The food was amazing for everyone. I had two doubles and aloo pie. I love doubles and the flavors were on point. I recommend getting your pepper on the side so you gauge it properly. The only downside was my dad who does not eat meat was given a doubled with chicken. Thankfully he caught on with an initial bite. Not sure when I'll be back in this area, but I will definitely be back here for the food.
I only went for takeout of their pumpkin after tasting someones dinner (takeout) Ill need to go back again and sample more things
The food here is amazing!! I've had the brown stew, chicken curry and the roti is the best. Their chicken wings are fire!!! They also have their own house made hot pepper sauce that I always ask for extra whenever I go!! Love this place :))
